Peas Masala.

The smell of fresh coriander always attracts us . The flavour we get cannot match anything in this world. A dish with coriander leaves as a base is given below. A great substitute to those who want to avoid coconut for diet reasons.




Fresh peas – 1 cup

Coriander leaves – 1 bunch            

Ginger – ½ inch

Garlic – 4 flakes

Onion – 2

Tomatoes -3

Potato – 1 (boiled and sliced into 4)

Garam masala powder – 1 tsp

Chilli powder – 1tsp

Turmeric powder ½ tsp .

Method: Cook peas till soft.



Grind coriander leaves, ginger , garlic . Heat oil and add the grind mixture till raw smell goes. Add all powder,salt, potatoes and finally peas .



cook for few minutes and serve.

Variation: If using dry peas soak for 8 hours and cook it .
Can add paneer with this gravy .
Goes well with all pulao ,chappathi and poori
