Chinese Fried Rice.


The vegetarian stall which sells fried rice is our most sought place . Often there will be a clash of thoughts to choose between the roti prata stall and the Fried rice stall . The freshness of the rice and the nice aroma makes us indulge in this often . i slightly peep inside to have a look on the procedure. The speed of the cook and the High temperature of the stove may be the reason for the unique taste . Yesterday i wanted to try this as i had no time to make dosai ,for, the time for the weekend movie was nearing . So i made this and children also liked this .


Cooked Rice – 2 cups
Carrot, Beans, Cabbage – 2 cups

Garlic – 3 flakes

small Onion – 5
Eggs – 2
Light Soya Sauce – 2 tsp
Tomato sauce – 1tsp
White pepper Powder – 1tsp


Method: First store the rice in the fridge and then cook as the rough texture is needed . i was in a hurry so i quickly put the rice in the freezer and started cutting the vegetables .Cut vegetables, onion, garlic . Add oil in a heavy bottom vessel. Add onion, garlic.


Sauté well. Add eggs and soya sauce and scramble it .


Add the vegetables and keep on stirring it without covering .


When vegetables are half cooked add rice , salt , Tomato sauce and mix.


Keep on turning it and you will get a crispy texture . The moisture if present should get evaporated . This is how i prepared Fried rice .The best way to empty left over rice and include vegetables in our food is Fried Rice.
