Mixed Fruit Jam.


Perhaps the most easiest recipe which needs no long description should be this mixed fruit jam.
Well i had a half of melon, one pineapple , few green apples and guava . i used the melon, two green apples, one guava and a half of pineapple for this .
First i removed the skin of apple , but for guava i left the skin. Then the fruits were cut into small pieces and i blended them to a smooth mixture.
i put the pulp In a vessel and stirred the pulp in medium flame .The water should be completely evaporated and so it takes time. Finally i added 1 cup sugar .Then i added a pinch or reddish yellow colour and the jam was ready .
If we are making in large quantities store the jam in a glass bottle and immerse the bottle in boiling water for 15 minutes . This way the jam will be preserved even without refrigeration .
Depending on the fruits the sugar level can be varied . Removing the seeds is also equally important .
