Beet root -2
Green chilli or red – 2
Jeera Powder – 1 tsp
Mustard seeds – 1tsp
Urad dal – 1tsp
Grated Coconut – 2 tsp
Curry leaves – a few
Wash and cut beetroots into small pieces.Pressure cook with little water or cook in an closed lid vessel.
Heat oil in a kadai. Add mustard seeds, urad dal and chilli.
Add the boiled Beetroot, jeera powder, salt and coconut .
For flavour add curry leaves and cook till moisture goes away . Serve with rice.
