Coriander Thuvaiyal .

i wanted to make a side dish for Aloo paratha. Little coriander leaves was left in the fridge. I remembered the thuvaiyal  my mother makes and quickly grinded them. Easy to make and tasty  to eat Coriander  thuvaiyal  can be mixed with rice or as a side dish also.

Ingredients:

Fresh Coriander leaves – a bunch

Red Chilli -3

Tamarind – a small pebble size

Jaggerry – 2tsp

Salt .

Method:

Grind Coriander leaves, chilli and tamarind with little water . Heat a kadai  and add this mixture.

Then add salt, jaggery and keep on stirring . The mixture will slowly turn colour. When all the water has evaporated switch off the flame . This can taken with Plain rice or as a  side dish for Roti.
