The scorching  sun  was  faced ably by our ancestors without fridge, fizzy drinks, concentrate and  also fruits . They made themselves comfortable and healthy with what they had in their local community. Neer mor is one such delight . It is made by diluting the curd from which butter had been taken . Adding other ingredients is purely optional. It is considered as  a great service  by setting Water and Neer Mor pots in streets to quench the thirst of the passers by . Our ancestors were such  a visionary that they did  everything which was within their reach and which serve the best . To increase the water and reduce the curd is what Neer mor is typical of (நீரை பெருக்கி மோரை குறுக்கி ). Which means the calorie content too decrease s. If we are suffering from diarrhoea  immediate treatment is  adding  a tsp of curd to a cup of water and  drinking it . There are so much in the Curd . that we can find new recipes best suited for our climate.

The procedure is simple . First whisk the curd well with a mathu (wooden  churner) or  a fork and dilute it with water . Add salt and hing powder. Temper this with mustard seeds , green chilli. Add curry leaves and coriander leaves i have added chunks of cucumber to get tasty bites .
