Budget Chocolate cake .

This evening the kids suddenly wanted something to eat and were searching the cabinets . The usual biscuits bored them. So i  took the Marie biscuits thinking of trying something new. Then my son, who is my biggest fan for my baking products asked for cupcakes. At first  i said no, it will take time . Later i changed my mind and did as he wished. But by  the time i had melted choco chips and  Butter in  a pan. So with whatever i could add i made this cake. This cake is  called a s Budget Cake as i used little butter and sugar . Surprisingly it came out well , not too sweet yet fluffy and soft .

Ingredients:

Self Raising flour – 2 cups

Choco chips – 2 tbls

Butter – 2 tbls or may be around 20 to 30 gm

Sugar – 4 tbls

Vanilla essence – 1tsp

Eggs -2

Milk – 1 cup

Crushed Marie Biscuits – 1 cup

Method:

Crush Marie biscuits in a mixie for few seconds.

Melt butter and choc chips in double boiler or microwave oven.

Beat two eggs and add  Vanilla  essence to it .

Add sugar and beat well.

Add the melted choco butter mixture and again beat well.

Add the self raising flour and mix well. Finally  add the crushed Marie biscuits .

Preheat oven at 200 degree. Bake this for 25 minutes in cake mould or 15 minutes in cupcake mould.
