We come across various recipes but when it comes in a local newspaper we are tempted to do it as the importance given attracts us more. i found this recipe in Food mania and finally saw the message that it is from a fellow blogger batter days with deb .wordpress.com. So i thought i should do this and had informed my son that i will bake for him. He is very prompt in getting things done so he showed the recipe to me while i was seriously conversing with my mother . And i have to keep my vow. Easy method and since i had most ingredients in hand i finished it quickly. i am giving the actual method . But i had replaced sour cream with condensed milk low fat and had omitted walnuts since i did not have the same. Instead of all purpose flour i used wheat flour which is pretty good. So vow to buy only wheat flour for baking needs. Now for the recipe. And also instead of butter i used 1 cup vegetable oil thus saved the guilt of using butter.

Grated orange zest – 2 tsp
Chocolate chips – 1/2 cup
Light sour cream – 188 ml

3. Cream butter , sugar and orange zest until light and fluffy.
4. Beat in 1 egg at a time.
5. Fold in the sour cream and chocolate chips.
6. Fold in the sifted flour one third at a time.
7. Add walnuts, and stir to combine.
8. Pour the mixture into the pan and bake for 55 minutes or until a tooth pick comes clean..
9.Allow the cake to stand for 10 minutes before turning it onto a wire rack.
i had got a cake with chips melted may be i had baked for a longer time. But other than that the cake is perfect and when all the ingredients are used it gives big rich treat for us.
