Schezwan Baby Potatoes Gravy.

An appealing photo always captivates us more than anything else.That way Raks kitchen is my favorite and i am an everyday visitor . i am too tempted to try her dishes when i see the photograph itself. As casual blogger(!!) i am too relaxed in spending time in upgrading my skills. Investing in a good camera is also my present consideration. As our previous one is spoil t  i am using my Samsung Note 3 to capture food photos. So enough said i am now blogging the recipe from raks kitchen , which is a very unique side dish and even my kids liked it.

Ingredients:

Baby potatoes – 20

Onion – 2

Garlic – 4 pods

Red Chilli – 10

Soya sauce – 1 tblsp

Tomato chilli sauce – 1 tblsp

Sugar -1 tsp

Corn Flour – 2 tsp

Spring Onion – 3 tbls

Red Chilli -2

salt – As needed

Oil – 1 tblsp

Black Pepper Powder -1 tsp

Lemon juice / Vinegar -2 tsp

Method:

1. First soak the red chili in  areal hot water .

2. Pressure cook the potato  and peel the skin. Pricking with fork  is advised as the gravy will enter the inner core.

3.Grind the red chili with little water and grind to a fine paste.

4.Heat a pan  with oil, tear the chilies  add it to the hot oil. Add pepper , then followed by finely chopped garlic, give it a fry . Add finely chopped onion and fry till transparent.

5.Add ground chilli paste , soya sauce , chilli tomato sauce , sugar and saute well. add the pricked potatoes , fry in low flame.

6.Add enough water to immerse  the  potatoes and required salt . When it comes to a boil , dissolve the corn flour and add to the boiling gravy .

7. When it thickens add lemon juice or vinegar . Garnish with spring onion, finely chopped.
